Pour le septième jour du défi 30 peintures en 30 jours organisé par Leslie Saeta, je soumets un détail de l'encre et aquarelle Lys, glaieuls et tournesol, présentée plus bas.
Après avoir peint une troisième version de mon gros bouquet, j'en ai effectué quelques cadrages et réalisé que je préférais la partie supérieur de ma peinture, partie qui excluait le tournesol.
L'original fait 8" X 12"
En fait, l'original me plait aussi mais, faire le focus sur le lys épanoui donnait une dimension intéressante à ce bouquet inspirant!
C’est comme 2 toiles dans une. Très beau des deux façons. J’aime bien tous les petits détails du dessin, çà donne de la richesse une fois la pièce complétée. Bon weekend!

EffacerIt's really a complete composition because the eye wherever it falls is pleased. The sunflower is so dominant, yet so striking, but the upper flowers are exquisite on their own.

EffacerI think about what you wrote about oil this morning, and the possibility to correct your painting so easily! For a long time, I wondered why I like so much to work with ink and watercolor, knowing that if there is a mistake, the only alternative is to begin another painting ... And I still think, that for me, this is a very relaxing and meditative way to paint !!!
